MISSION VIEJO, CA — DCSE Inc., a developer of environmental and collaborative web-based project solutions, has completed a map-based interface for a website developed for the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), which the agency said will improve the site's accessibility. The site for SFWMD's Environmental Monitoring for Public Access and Community Tracking (EMPACT) was designed to allow scientists, children and others to view the regulatory, scientific and environmental data and the biotic integrity of the remaining Everglades. The technology used by the user interface will make it easier for site visitors to find what they're looking for, officials said. The EMPACT site is scheduled to be online in the near future.
