Idaho-based Trinity Springs, one of the few geothermal waters bottled in the U.S., currently has a permit from the State of Idaho to bottle 258 million gallons per year, the release stated.
The 16,000-year-old alkaline water has been used as a standard for chemical analysis by laboratories throughout the U.S. because of its purity, according to the release.
The company will be sold in the form of a sale of stock or sale of assets.
