Jan 1, 2010 the new lead free law AB1953 goes into effect in California.  I am curious to know how the various manufacturers of water treatment equipment are addressing this issue since the standard brass fittings and most standard brass valve castings will not meet the requirements.  Has Fleck and Autotrol come out with certified lead free valves?

Autotrol has a number of injection molded glass-filled noryl plastic control valves for filters and softeners with NO metal in contact with the potable water.
