MODESTO, Calif. — Caloris Engineering LLC has established more West Coast offices to better serve processors in the region, according to a press release.

Based in Easton, Maryland, several Caloris employees have joined the company in California, noted the release.

Senior Process Engineer Matthew Brunton has been with the company since 2007, and recently relocated to Modesto, stated the release. He has been involved in evaporator installations and rebuilds on the coast.

Caloris hired Harbans Kohli as a representative out of the Los Angeles area, reported the release, to assist with the company’s marketing and sales efforts. He has worked with direct membrane systems for more than 35 years, most recently with H2O Information.

The two men will work with Caloris West Coast Representative Jeff Podesto, shared the release.

“With the establishment of our new West Coast offices, Caloris will be able to respond faster to the needs of our current customers, and to inquiries from potential customers, in the Western United States,” said Jim Peterson, president of Caloris, in the release. “The combined skills of Matthew Brunton, Harbans Kohli and Jeff Podesto create a solid technical knowledge base to support processors in need of traditional process-stream evaporation assistance as well as water and wastewater treatment assistance up and down the West Coast.”

Caloris develops evaporators and other thermal processing equipment, shared the release. It treats industrial wastewater, recovers clean water and minimizes waste to zero liquid discharge with its mechanical vapor recompression.
