ARLINGTON, Texas, — Trinity River Authority wastewater collection lines in Dallas and Irving overflowed wastewater Wednesday, according to a press release.

Rainfall totaling four-plus inches throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex caused hydraulic overloading in TRA's Central Regional Wastewater System collection lines, stated the release.

Each outflow surpassed 100,000 gallons and there is no indication that the public drinking water supplies were threatened or contaminated, noted the release.
