CONCORD, N.H. — The American Ground Water Trust’s (AGWT) will hold its “Well & Pump” workshop on Aug. 6, in Cincinnati, according to a press release.

AGWT’s Well & Pump workshop has been held in 22 states and attended by more than 2,000 utility managers, pump specialists, engineers and well contractors, stated the release.

The program focuses on water well professionals and groundwater end-users involved with water utility supply, irrigation, industrial water use, mine dewatering and more, continued the release.

Inefficient wells and pumps can cost thousands of dollars in energy consumption, and the Well & Pump workshop discusses how to diagnose the causes of declining well yield problems, as well as how to apply the most cost-effective solutions, noted the release.
