BURLEY, Idaho — A 61-year-old Texas woman took the wrong turn and ended up getting stuck in a dairy wastewater pond, which she thought was the Snake River, according to Times-News Magic Valley.

On Jan. 15 a deputy stopped the woman and gave her directions to cross the bridge over Snake River to get to the hotels north of Burley, Idaho, stated the article.

The woman tried to drive around the pond before getting stuck and reports indicate she was stranded there for three to five days and survived on peanut butter M&Ms and water, according to the article.

When the pond began filling up she finally decided to get out of the car and go find help, noted the article.
