POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River County, Miss. now has two state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facilities running after six and half years of work, according to the Picayune Item.

The plants in Picayune, Miss. and Poplarville, Miss. both feature ultraviolet light during their treatment process, stated the article.

The Poplarville facility cost an estimated $8.9 million and the Picayune one $12 million, while both increased the wastewater treatment capacity for their respective cities, noted the article.
