Using ultraviolet (UV) disinfection to treat process/production water is gaining acceptance across food and beverage industries, an article in the January issue of Water Technology® Magazine says.
To help water treatment and bottled water professionals understand the use of UV in these industries, author Mark J. Scanlon of Aquionics, Inc. describes the UV method, technology and application to water bottling lines in his article, “Bottle disinfection — without the byproducts.”
