Trevose, PA — GE Water & Process Technologies recently introduced computer-based training called LearningSource for GE Water’s customers, channel partners, plant managers and operators, according to the company.
Kimberly Ramalho, a GE Water spokeswoman, told WaterTech Online® on April 28 that the company developed the program because “GE Water knows the value of blended learning, and this enhances the training we provide to our customers.”
LearningSource, introduced in February, offers courses that are 20 minutes to 30 minutes in duration and cover all aspects of a typical facility. LearningSource is designed to offer convenience and flexibility in training, according to the GE LearningSource Web site.
Online curricula include:
● Fundamentals of Water Treatment
● Cooling Fundamental Program
● Advanced Cooling Program
● Reverse Osmosis Program
● Water and Waste Program
● Boiler Program.
Upon completion of a course, participants will receive a certificate, Ramalho said.
