COQUILLE, ORE. — A boil-water advisory has been issued to residents in Coquille, Ore., who were affected by a loss of water pressure on Monday, according to kval.com.
Many residents lost water supply after millions of gallons of water were drained into a field on Sunday night and Monday morning, causing a lack of water pressure, the article stated.
Public Works Department officials warned that the loss of pressure could leave water lines susceptible to harmful bacteria such as E. Coli, according to the story.
The city is collecting water test samples and officials said they expect results by Wednesday afternoon.
