DENVER — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced that the 2010 Distribution Systems Symposium and Exposition (DSS) and Water Security Congress will be co-located in National Harbor, Md., on Sept. 19-22, according to a press release.
Each event will have distinct technical programs open to attendees of either conference at no additional cost, and the shared exhibit hall will represent products and service providers from distribution and security, providing a unique opportunity for networking and purchasing.
For more than 30 years, DSS has brought together decision makers and key influencers involved in water distribution, the release stated.
Each year, the AWWA Water Security Congress draws water industry professionals who want up-to-date information on innovative products and services for protecting water and wastewater infrastructures in order to prepare for new and emerging water security challenges.
“We are thrilled to offer our conference attendees this opportunity to attend both conferences. DSS and the Water Security Congress both offer educational and professional opportunities that are crucial to the work done by members of the water community,” said AWWA Executive Director David LaFrance.
