SAN FRANCISCO – Crystal Geyser has pulled 33,000 cases of its bottled water from the market after customers complained about the water's odor and taste, a recent report on NBC 4 News said.
An error at Crystal Geyser's plant caused the water bottles to be capped with lids designed for soda and juice bottles, according to the article.
The recall affects water bottled between July 22 and September 3 and sold in the Los Angeles area, the article stated.
Despite the objectionable odor and taste, the water is safe to drink, Crystal Geyser representatives said in the story.
