USDA funding to go to four rural Minnesota communities

WILLMAR, Minn. — Recently announced USDA funding for water infrastructure will provide large loans and grants to the four cities.

WILLMAR, Minn. — The recently announced U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) funding for 74 water and infrastructure projects in 40 states will include large-scale projects in four rural Minnesota communities, according to an article by the West Central Tribune.

The funding will include a $900,000 loan and $600,000 grant to make water system improvements in Cyrus; a $156,000 grant to replace a force water main and repaint the water tower in the City of Hanley Falls; a $359,000 loan and a $311,000 grant for sewer improvements in Longville; and a $1,740,000 loan and $1,370,000 grant for wastewater improvements in the City of St. Martin, the article reported.
