GUELPH, Ontario — The International Conference on Stormwater and Urban Water Systems Modeling will take place Feb. 26 and 27 next year in Toronto, according to a press release.

Beginning as the SWMM Users Group Meeting, the conference is in its 47th year and its 23rd in Toronto.

Professionals including engineers, scientists, modelers and administrators from North America and beyond attend the conference to exchange ideas on new and current technologies in hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, runoff, pollutants, water distribution, etc., according to the release.

The conference will involve exhibits, displays and posters related to storm water and water quality modeling, with an emphasis on topics such as urban drainage system and analysis, facilities management systems, modeling impacts on aquatic systems and habitats and surface water quality modeling, the release reported.
