4th Annual Produced Water Reuse Initiative 2014 to be held in Denver

DENVER — Register by Aug. 28, to save $400 for the annual event, which is taking place Oct. 29-30.

DENVER — The agenda for the 4th Annual Produced Water Reuse 2014: Rocky Mountains Tight Oil & Shale Gas Plays Initiative, has been redesigned to focus on cost-reduction strategies for produced water reuse in the Powder River, Bakken and the DJ, Uinta and Piceance Basins, according to a press release.

The event will be held Oct. 29-30, and will feature more than 18 operator led case studies examining the optimal water treatment, storage and recycling strategies for minimizing the cost of water reuse in the Rocky Mountains and determining the most cost-effective water sourcing and disposal methods, stated the release.

Speakers for the event include, but are not limited to: QEP Energy Company Chemical Water Engineering Manager — Ryan Pagel, Apache Corporation Completions Engineer — Daniel Smith, and EPA SPCC Region 8 Specialist — Melissa Payan, noted the release.
