A look inside EWQA’s 2014 Conference and Trade Show

HUNT VALLEY, Md. — The Eastern Water Quality Association (EWQA) is a regional professional association representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industries.

HUNT VALLEY, Md. — The Eastern Water Quality Association (EWQA) 2014 Conference and Trade Show offered many firsts, including the first-time conference location of Hunt Valley, Maryland, according to a press release.

In this year’s conference, EWQA featured bid items from the Water Quality Association (WQA) and a new level of elevated auction items, stated the release.

The release reported that the auctioneers, Mike Urbans and Peter Auchincloss, offered a hot air balloon ride, Cessna ride, four-day cruise to Bahamian ports, upscale BBQ, tickets to sports venues, two nights in Santa Barbara, California, and more.

Also at taking place at the conference, WQA Director of Education and Professional Certification Tanya Lubner, Ph.D., discussed the new WQA Modular Education Program (MEP) and delivered the keynote address, continued the release.

The EWQA is planning for the 2015 Conference and Trade Show, with the goal of reducing pricing, providing more fun and educational topics, noted the release.
