Aclara welcomes new senior VP of engineering and technology

ST. LOUIS — Aclara Technologies LLC is a provider of smart infrastructure technologies and software solutions to electric, gas and water utilities around the world.

ST. LOUIS — Aclara Technologies LLC announced that Greg Wilson has joined the company as the senior vice president of engineering and technology, according to a press release.

Wilson has experience in product development and technology, with a “demonstrated track record of success” in boosting profitability, generating efficiencies and producing quality consumer and technology products for joint venture enterprises, stated the release.

In his new position with Aclara, he will oversee engineering, software design and processes throughout the engineering and technology departments, and his position includes an extensive range of responsibilities such as strategic and technical planning, analysis, execution, project management, implementation, collaboration with other functional leaders and operational management, continued the release.

Prior to Aclara, reported the release, Wilson was vice president at Harris Corporation, RF Communications, and also previously served as director of product development at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.

Wilson has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Marquette University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Dominican University, noted the release.
