Aqua-Aerobic technical seminars continue to advance learning

LOVES PARK, Ill. — The company recently held its first technical seminar of 2014 on biological nutrient removal.

LOVES PARK, Ill. — Aqua-Aerobic Systems recently held its first technical seminar of 2014 entitled, “Effective Solutions to Biological Nutrient Removal” on May 22nd where close to 50 potential customers and company representatives were in attendance, according to a press release.

Since the mid-1980s, Aqua-Aerobic has hosted monthly technical training seminars for water and wastewater professionals from around the world, the release reported.

Close to 5,000 engineers, consultants, plant managers, operations staff and owners have attended one or more of the company’s seminars, noted the release.

The primary purpose is to learn the design and application of water and wastewater technologies, continued the release, including aeration/mixing, biological processes, cloth media filtration, membrane systems and process controls.

According to the release, an integral part of the Aqua-Aerobic seminar program, in addition to its technically focused presentations, is a tour of the company’s new Research and Technology Center — a partnership with the local wastewater reclamation district in Rockford, Ill.
