Aquatech Innovation Award nominees announced

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands — Ten nominees in five categories were chosen from 60 entrants.

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands — Nominees for the Aquatech Innovation Award, which will be announced at the Aquatech Amsterdam 2013 exhibition opening ceremony on Nov. 4, have been chosen, according to an article from Filtration and Separation.

Out of 60 entries, 10 nominees in five categories were chosen, the article reported.

According to the article, the five categories are wastewater treatment, water treatment, transport and storage, process control technology and process automation and not yet to market.

Nominees include The Aecomix™ Reactor from Nijhuis Water Technology, the HumVi Liquid from Vitens, RWB Water Services' High Rate Filtration System and N2O Wastewater Systems from Unisense A/S.

Last year's winner gained global recognition, the article reported, after being announced as the award recipient.
