AWWA/AMTA Membrane Technology Conference and Exposition offers early registration

DENVER — The AWWA is encouraging those who plan to attend to register by Feb. 11 for reduced rates.

DENVER — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is encouraging those planning to attend the 2014 AWWA/AMTA Membrane Technology Conference and Exposition to register in advance by Feb. 11, according to a press release.

The event is scheduled to take place March 10-14 at Bally's Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, noted the release.

The latest developments in membrane water treatment technologies will be presented during the conference and exposition, which is expected to reach 1,300 attendees with 115 technical presentations, 60 poster presentations, five workshops and an exhibit hall featuring 100 product and service exhibitors, the release reported.

Members from each organization, AMTA affiliates and nonmembers are encouraged to register in advance for discounted pricing, continued the release, and hotel reservations must also be made by Feb. 11 to secure the special group rate.

According to the release, sessions will be divided into four focused tracks including membrane filtration applications, brackish water and seawater, wastewater applications and industrial facilities, regional issues and new innovations and research.
