GREATER SUDBURY, Canada — A cargo train traveling through the Greater Sudbury, Canada region was sent into the Wahnapitae River after a bridge collapsed, according to CTV News.
The Canada Pacific train and its containers were sent into the river after its derailment, noted the article.
There were no reports of injury, but the containers on the train spilled a lot of debris, which could be seen floating downstream hours after the incident.
Greater Sudbury officials said the train was carry some potentially hazardous materials, which prompted the Sudbury and District Health Unit to issue a drinking water advisory to residents that get water from the river, stated the article.
