CASQA to present awards at annual conference

SAN DIEGO — The California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) helps develop stormwater management programs and regulations, provide significant environmental benefits and influence compliance with state and federal laws.

SAN DIEGO — The California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) will present six awards at the 10th Annual CASQA Stormwater Conference awards luncheon on Sept. 16 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, California, according to a press release.

The conference is held each year for experts in the stormwater field and includes an awards program recognizing creative approaches, outstanding projects, best practices and exemplary accomplishments in the field of stormwater quality management, stated the release.

“The CASQA Awards Committee evaluated the creativity and innovation of organizations as they addressed stormwater and environmental challenges in their communities,” said CASQA Awards Program Chairman Jeff Endicott. “These award recipients embody creativity and sustainability in stormwater management. CASQA wishes to recognize their success, innovation and dedication to the improvement of stormwater quality in California.”

This year’s conference titled, “Urban Stormwater Management: Integrated, Innovative and Green,” began Sept. 15 and ends Sept. 17, and features training workshops, presentations and exhibits, noted the release.
