DENVER — CH2M HILL announced its water team’s leaders responsible for leading the firm’s private sector water business, according to a press release.
Bringing more than 34 years of experience supervising and managing water and wastewater projects, Global Managing Director Peter Nicol is responsible for overseeing CH2M HILL’s public and private sector water business, stated the release.
Ken Martins, with more than 32 years of experience in design, construction and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems, was selected as the new private sector global service leader and will be responsible for leading and growing a high performance technology team to address industrial clients’ most complex water challenges, continued the release.
The release reported that appointed as the new deputy global service leader, Kristen Jenkins, also the global technology leader for the power market, brings more than 20 years of experience in industrial pollution prevention assessments, compliance and permitting, and in her new position, she will work with Martins to “spearhead CH2M HILL’s industrial water technology talent and technical tools,” as well as implement best practices to solve the most complex needs of clients.
The release added that market segment leaders have also been named to help lead the five core industries of upstream oil and gas, mining, power and industrials, as well as downstream oil, gas and chemicals.
“[CH2M HILL] is furthering its commitment to leading innovation and developing more effective industrial water and wastewater treatment technologies by focusing on five specific industries and tapping key leaders in its water business to head the firm’s work in the private water sector,” said Nicol.
