Denver — CH2M Hill won two National Merit Awards presented by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), according to a press release.

The firm’s winning design-build projects include the Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility in Tucson, Ariz., and the City of Wilsonville’s Wastewater Treatment Plant in Wilsonville, Ore., stated the release.

The release reported that the DBIA awards acknowledge commendable application of Design-Build Done Right project delivery for projects that achieved best value, while meeting design and construction cost, quality and schedule goals.

The DBIA will present the merit awards, as well as three Awards of Excellence in the areas of design, process and learning, at the 2014 Design-Build Conference & Expo on Oct. 7, taking place in Dallas, Texas, noted the release.

“Collaboration, communication and teamwork are at the heart of every successful design-build-operate (DBO) project. We’re proud to accept these honors with our clients in Pima County and the City of Wilsonville,” said CH2M HILL Global Water Market President Greg McIntyre. “These projects not only demonstrate our clients’ commitment to sustainability, but prove the effectiveness of a collaborative delivery approach in delivering high quality projects on time and on budget.”
