DENVER — CH2M HILL, a global full-service consulting, design, construction and operations firm, announces that it is sharing its technical expertise during the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), as a founding sponsor, according to a press release.

Hosted by the Singapore Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and Singapore’s National Water Agency, PUB, from June 1-5, this exclusive integrated event focuses on water and urban sustainability, drawing participation from more than 19,000 water professionals and elected officials from more than 100 countries, the release reported.

“CH2M HILL is pleased to once again be a founding sponsor of Singapore International Water Week. The conference provides an important venue for thought leadership and idea exchange on the integration of water and the development of more sustainable cities now and in the future,” says Greg McIntyre, CH2M HILL global water market president. “Urban landscapes are changing and our limited water and energy supply is impacting how we think about building communities and cities. Singapore is on the leading edge of implementing innovative water solutions that can be a model for other nations.”

As part of Singapore’s strategic program to grow the water industry and develop leading water technologies, continued the release, SIWW is emphasizing the significance of sustainable water management and how it relates to developing livable, sustainable cities.

According to the release, this year’s convention is centered on four themes: Municipal Water, Industrial Water, Integrated City-Environment-Water and Future of Water.
