CH2M HILL’s Sandino recognized as WEF Fellow at WEFTEC

DENVER, Colo. — Julian Sandino has been heavily involved in WEF in the past on the board of trustees and various committees.

DENVER, Colo. — Consulting, design, construction and operations firm CH2M HILL’s Vice President and Technology Fellow Julian Sandino has been recognized as a 2013 Water Environment Federation (WEF) Fellow, according to a press release.

Sandino was recognized during the Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) 2013 in Chicago this Oct. 5 to 9, according to the release.

"As a globally recognized technical leader in wastewater treatment, Julian has led multi-disciplinary teams in sanitation infrastructure and environmental projects throughout the world, bringing his expertise to more than 300 projects," said Brock McEwen, CH2M HILL global water technology director.

Fourteen other professionals have also been recognized with this designation, the release continued, which highlights individuals with accomplishments that have made an impact in their field.

Sandino has served on the WEF board of trustees for two terms in the past and chaired the WEF Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Design and the International Coordination Committees, reported the release.
