LATHAM, N.Y. — Adam Michaels commented on a WaterTech e-News Daily story about new legislation in Mexico.

LATHAM, N.Y. — Water Technology loves to hear reader feedback on all of our stories, and this week the comment of the week was by reader Adam Michaels on a WaterTech e-News Daily story from January 24, "Mexico City to require water filters in all restaurants."

The article reported on new legislation in Mexico City that will require all restaurants there to install filters to offer free, drinkable tap water.

Michaels commented, "This is great news [as] they are the world's leading consumer of bottled water as there are too many bottles floating around as it is. Making all businesses [install] water filters is a great way to reduce the impact of bottled water, and hopefully, there will be more countries who read about this, and eventually propose the same thing to enforce businesses to do the same."
