Conecsus opens wastewater treatment operation in Mexico

Conecsus LLC opened a wastewater treatment operation in Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosí (SLP), Mexico. The new Conecsus de Mexico S.A. de C.V. is an industrial wastewater treatment plant that applies technology and physicochemical treatment methodology for the purification of residual industrial wastewater. The plant is housed in a modern industrial park, Logistik II, where it is neighbors with manufacturing companies including BMW, San Luis Metal Forming, Loreal and others.

Siemens is developing web-based process control system for all industries

Siemens announced it is developing a Simatic PCS neo, a system software that offers companies global web-based collaboration in engineering and operation and a user interface that displays all relevant information in a single workbench. Users have a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows them to reach any application with a few clicks. Simatic PCS neo’s workbench allows toggling between the Engineering and the Monitoring & Control views at any time. The object-oriented data model increases efficiency and quality over the entire plant lifecycle. The system allows multiple users to work in parallel and does not require local software installation.

Veolia introduces skid-mounted RO system

Veolia Water Technologies launched NURION, a skid-mounted reverse osmosis (RO) system designed to produce high-quality ingredient water. The food and beverage industry requires water for various applications within its manufacturing facilities, where it must be free from undesirable taste, odor, color and impurities. NURION ensures water quality through its permeate line design and certified components, which follow EHEDG hygienic design principles to optimize microbial control throughout the treatment process. The equipment pipes are made of stainless steel, with a variable speed pump integrated with automatic control valves aligned with the automation features, ensuring a stable operation and autonomous reverse osmosis.
