OXFORD, Maine — Town Manager Michael Chammings said construction on a $20 million membrane filtration system in Oxford, Maine could begin as early as this fall, according to the Sun Journal.
"It's the first of its kind in Maine," Chammings said. "I've got other towns and cities calling me about this system."
The project involves connecting with new sewer lines, which stretch six miles along Route 26, noted the article.
These new lines would connect a planned hotel and restaurant with the Oxford Casino.
