COWA announces Water Reuse Symposium and Technology Fair

TWAIN HARTE, Calif. — The event will be the culmination of a week of education programs in Malibu.

TWAIN HARTE, Calif. — The California Onsite Wastewater Association (COWA) has announced its Onsite Water Reuse Symposium and Technology Fair and Educational Programs, scheduled for Jan. 13-17 in Malibu, according to a press release.

The events will be hosted by the City of Malibu Environmental Sustainability Division at the Malibu City Hall, noted the release.

According to the release, the schedule of events is as follows: Routine Maintenance Inspections and Load Testing Dispersal Components on Monday, OWTS Technology Management and Disinfection on Tuesday, OWTS System Controls on Wednesday, Low Pressure Pipe and Drip Dispersal Fundamentals on Thursday and Onsite Water Reuse Symposium and Technology Fair on Friday.

Friday's event will provide a forum for onsite industry professionals and stakeholders from around the world to exchange information on treatment technologies being employed as both rural wastewater solutions and urban sewer mining strategies, the release reported.
