LOS ANGELES — The cabins are scheduled to debut in late November 2013.

LOS ANGELES — According to an article from USA TODAY, luxury cruise liner Crystal Cruises recently announced what the company is calling the first hypoallergenic rooms at sea.

According to the article, Crystal Cruises will convert 70 cabins on the 1,070-passenger Crystal Serenity into super-purified, anti-allergy rooms, scheduled to debut in late November 2013.

The “Deluxe PURE Staterooms,” continued the article, are being designed in partnership with PURE Marine Solutions, which is a sister company to hypoallergenic hotel room-designer PURE Global.

In addition to training cleaning crews on anti-allergy cleaning strategies, added the release, the rooms will be outfitted with microfiber, monofilament mattresses and pillow cases.
