BOULDER, Colo. — Emerson Process Management introduces the Micro Motion ELITE CMF350 Coriolis flowmeter for line sizes from 3.5 to 4.5 inches (DN sizes of 90-125).

BOULDER, Colo. — Emerson Process Management has introduced the Micro Motion ELITE CMF350 Coriolis flowmeter, expanding the ELITE family by offering accuracy and dependability for customers requiring measurement of medium to large flow rates, according to a press release.

The CMF350 features an optimal level of scalability and standardization for the best fit in applications where flow rate accuracy with low pressure drop and high turndown is critical, stated the release.

The meter delivers 0.05 percent optional liquid mass flow accuracy and volume accuracy, ±0.35 percent gas accuracy and ±0.0002 g/cc liquid density accuracy, with maximum flow rates for this sensor reaching 15,000 lb/min (409,000 kg/h), continued the release.

CMF350 is applicable in the refining, oil and gas, chemical and power industries and is ideal for applications such as custody transfer of liquid and gas, cementing, basic and specialty chemicals, ethylene and crude production, production separation and manufacturing processes, noted the release.

“The ELITE CMF350 provides a solution for those customers who desire peak performance and ultimate control for their critical and challenging applications,” said Emerson’s Micro Motion business Vice President of marketing Bill Graber.
