PULASKI, N.Y. — German automaker BMW has partnered with HealthWay, an international provider of indoor environmental solutions, to help combat air pollution in China, according to a press release.
Beijing, China, for many years has suffered from severe air pollution with primary sources of the pollutants including exhaust emission, dust storms and coal burning, stated the release.
BMW offices throughout China have installed HealthWay’s medical-grade air cleaners over the past 12 months, reported the release.
These HealthWay air cleaners, continued the release, have been shown to capture 99.99 percent of all particles down to 0.007 micron.
“It goes without saying how humbled we are that BMW chose us to provide clean air for their employees throughout China,” said Vinny Lobdell, president of HealthWay based in Central New York. “BMW represents dependability, luxury and innovation all of which we strive to achieve at HealthWay."
The BMW Corporate Training Center located in Guangzhou, China, housing hundreds of people as well as routinely providing support for other regions throughout China, was the first to install the indoor air cleaning technology, noted the release.
