AMHERST, N.Y. — Established in 1993, Griffco Valve Inc. manufactures high quality chemical feed equipment for pumps and systems.

AMHERST, N.Y. — Griffco Valve Inc. announced it has earned certification for CE under the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC Category IV, Modules B and D, for its design and manufacture of back pressure valves and pressure relief/safety valves, according to a press release.

Griffco Valve has one of the first diaphragm pressure relief valves to be certified to this level of CE marketing, stated the release.

The Amherst-based company asserted that this certification will allow its customers to save money when buying back pressure, safety or pressure relief valves, continued the release.

The release reported that Griffco Valve’s diaphragm valve design “limits the number of wetted parts to just two, the valve body and the PTFE-faced diaphragm.”

"This [certification] represents a huge milestone in the recognition of Griffco safety valves,” said Griffco Valve President Colin Black. “Our history of manufacturing high quality, reliable products, combined with our comprehensive line of chemical feed accessories, enables Griffco to offer the right products, certifications and safety standards to grow and support customers in North America, Europe and worldwide.”

Griffco Valve, established in 1993, manufactures high quality chemical feed equipment for pumps and systems, with products including pressure relief valves, calibration columns, back pressure valves, corporation stops, injection valves and more, noted the release.
