DENVER — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is urging very small and rural water utilities to participate in AWWA’s first compensation survey focused specifically on very small and rural wastewater and water systems, according to a press release.
The results of the survey will be compiled together for utilities to examine compensation practices, salary ranges and salaries of utilities similar in size, stated the release.
The new survey is included in AWWA’s 2015 Water and Wastewater Utility Compensation Survey, which was previously only for large and small/medium utilities, reported the release.
Those who participate in the survey will have a chance to win an Apple iPad Air 2, and responding utilities can also purchase the full compensation survey results at a 30 percent discount, continued the release.
The deadline to participate in the survey is April 30, noted the release.
