GE announces the release of two new coagulants to its KlarAid* product line, KlarAid CDP2727 and CDP2724.

GE announces the release of two new coagulants to its KlarAid* product line, KlarAid CDP2727 and CDP2724. These coagulants are custom-designed blends of one of GE’s high molecular weight organic coagulants and a high-basicity aluminum coagulant. They provide the convenience of a single container chemical treatment solution, simplified materials management and lower costs, as well as lower turbidities and TOC concentrations when clarifying low turbidity raw water. In addition, larger and faster-settling floc is produced than when treating with an inorganic coagulant alone. Less sludge is also created as well as lower sludge disposal costs.
