High-Performance Water Filter Reduces Chloramines

May 22, 2015

The ChloraBlock Filter is well suited for commercial, industrial and residential point-of-use (POU) applications.

The Watts ChloraBlock Filter is a cartridge filter that provides four times the chloramine-reducing capacity of standard carbon blocks and twice the chlorine-reducing capacity of standard carbon blocks. It uses a coconut shell catalytic carbon block to reduce levels of the widely used disinfectant.

Key features of the filter include a large quantity of catalytically active nitrogen groups for highly effective chloramine reduction, a unique binder system that maximizes the availability of catalytic sites, and 1-µm nominal filtration. The filter is manufactured from advanced, high-performance media.

The ChloraBlock Filter is well suited for commercial, industrial and residential point-of-use (POU) applications.
