ATLANTA, Ga. — DS Waters of America Inc. has changed its name to DS Services of America Inc., according to a press release published by MarketWatch.

"Over the years, we've made investments to expand our portfolio of products and services," said Tom Harrington, president and chief executive officer of DS Services. "In addition to expanding our position in the bottled water home and office delivery business, we have also created meaningful market positions in the coffee service and water filtration industries."

DS Services acquired Standard Coffee® in 2012, adding to its popular brands such as Javarama®, Green Mountain Coffee®, Starbucks® Coffee, Caribou Coffee®, Peet's Coffee & Tea®, ALTERRA® Coffee Roasters and Luzianne® Coffee and Tea, reported the release.

March 1 is the official launch date for the new name, noted the release.

According to the release, DS Services has refined the company's new brand identity with a new name and logo that better communicate the company's position in the market as a single-source beverage services provider across multiple lines of business, in preparation for the launch.
