HARRISBURG, Pa. — A recall of bottled water has been issued because it could be contaminated with E. coli, according to 6abc.com.

The Pennsylvania departments of Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Health warned consumers not to drink Niagara spring water bottled between June 10 and 18 from its Hamburg or Upper Macungie facilities, noted the article. Authorities claim the source of the water, Far Away Springs, had multiple tests indicating the presence of E. coli.

In a statement on its website, Niagara said the recall was issued "out of an abundance of caution and in the interests of maintaining the highest possible standards for product quality." It also states no reports of illness or injury have been made.

Niagara’s statement explains the company is cooperating with state and federal agencies during the incident, reported the article. The following brand names were affected: Acadia (Giant), Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-11, Niagara, Nature’s Place, Pricerite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, Shoprite, Western Beef Blue and Wegman’s.
