Emerson and Colorado State University partner on new brewing innovation center

Emerson is collaborating with Colorado State University (CSU) to build the Emerson Brewing Innovation Center, where students will get hands-on experience using the latest automation technologies. Funded by a joint investment, the center will serve as the main educational hub for the Fermentation Sciences and Technology program and will reinforce advanced competencies for digital transformation as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) era continues to evolve the industry.

SUEZ and The EOR Alliance partner to improve EOR solutions

SUEZ extended its 2016 cooperation agreement with The EOR Alliance to serve the demand for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), which uses advanced extraction techniques to increase yields. The three partners of The EOR Alliance, IFP Energies nouvelles, Solvay and Beicip-Franlab, provide complete coverage of the chain through an integrated chemical EOR offer, from formulation development to field application and monitoring: pre-feasibility analysis, laboratory design, pilot design, pilot execution and field-scale deployment. SUEZ brings extensive water and produced fluids process knowledge and a broad portfolio of technologies, engineering, equipment manufacturing and field chemical services capabilities to the initiative.

Dow Microbial Control changed its name to DuPont Microbial control, aligning with the DuPont brand and the separation of the Dow company from DuPont. DuPont Microbial Control represents the combined power of Dow’s history of developing products that control the growth of harmful microorganisms, now enhanced by DuPont’s position in the biotechnology space.
