Engineering firm hires project manager

HOUSTON — The employee worked with the firm as a graduate engineer in 2006.

HOUSTON — Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) added Byron L. Bevers, P.E., to its staff as project manager, according to a press release.

Bevers will manage LAN’s infrastructure projects in Montgomery County, Texas, stated the release.

"Byron’s expertise in both the private and public sectors in Montgomery County further strengthens the firm’s knowledge base allowing the firm to foresee and exceed our clients’ needs," said Melissa Mack, P.E., LAN’s associate and project manager, in the release.

Bevers has nearly 10 years of engineering experience, including his work with LAN as a graduate engineer in 2006, reported the release. He served as director of public works and community development for the City of Shenandoah, and as a graduate engineer for Bleyl & Associates.

Bevers holds a degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University, shared the release.

A full-service engineering firm, LAN has more than 300 employees across the U.S., noted the release. It has been ranked in Engineering News-Record’s “Top 100 A/E Firms.”
