EPA one-day workshop on stormwater runoff

ATLANTA — The one-day workshop will take place Dec. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

ATLANTA — EPA Region 4 will host a one-day workshop Dec. 12 in Hilton Head to discuss the use of green infrastructure and low-impact development controls to help manage post-construction stormwater runoff to maintain predevelopment runoff conditions, according to a press release.

The workshop will highlight and explain design procedures, present examples and case studies, as well as discuss the benefits and costs of green infrastructure, stated the release.

The release reported that the workshop will take place at 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, Shipyard Plantation, 103 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The free workshop will be open to state representatives, developers, municipalities and other stormwater practitioners involved in the municipal water program, noted the release.
