WASHINGTON — Registration for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Safe and Sustainable Water Resource Research Program webinar is now available, according to a press release.

The webinar “New Climate Adjustment Tool: An update to EPA’s Storm Water Management Model (SWMM)” will take place Feb. 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. EST, stated the release.

Dr. Lewis Rossman will discuss EPA’s update to the SWMM, first released in 1971, to include a climate adjustment tool (CAT), continued the release.

The release reported that the SWMM “models hydrology and hydraulics to simulate the movement of water through the landscape and into and through sewer systems,” and is widely used around the world.

Each month, the Safe and Sustainable Water Resource Research Program will offer a webinar focused on EPA water research, noted the release.
