Eric Hargan to discuss ‘Obamacare’ at WQA Aquatech 2014

LISLE, Ill. — The former deputy secretary of the U.S. HHS will explain what employers need to know.

LISLE, Ill. — Eric Hargan, the former deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will be discussing the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as 'Obamacare,' during an educational session at WQA Aquatech USA 2014, according to press release.

The convention is being held March 18-21 in Orlando, Fla. and Hargan's session titled, "Confused about Healthcare Reform? What Employers Need to Know," will take place from 8 to 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, the release reported.

Hargan will discuss the new healthcare law, focusing on key issues that will affect companies and their employees and providing water treatment companies with viable strategies for mitigating their healthcare costs, noted the release.

According to the release, Hargan will discuss the following topics: Updates on recent changes and delays, how penalties and insurance exchanges will affect businesses, employers' reporting requirements and what employers should be doing in 2014 to get ready for 2015.
