Filter of Hope is partnering with Samaritan's Purse, Convoy of Hope and other relief organizations that will be distributing Filter of Hope water filters to areas of greatest need, the release reported.

According to the release, donors can purchase a Filter of Hope for $40 for a family in need at www.filterofhope.com, by clicking the banner that says "Help Those in the Philippines Now."

Before the Typhoon, the release noted, 16 million Filipinos lacked access to safe drinking water, and this storm has only intensified the desperate conditions.
