DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Filtrex and HaloSource will sponsor the Wishing Well International Foundation (WWIF)-Florida Water Quality Association (FWQA) 2014 Golf Tournament in Orlando on March 18 during the WQA Aquatech Annual Convention and Trade Show, according to a press release.
Filtrex, which specializes in coconut shell-based activated carbon serving the water industry, has supported the WWIF since it started, reported the release.
HaloSource, Inc., a global clean water technology company, has been a WWIF platinum sponsor since early 2013, the release noted.
"We are thrilled to work with FWQA and are very excited to have the tournament in Orlando this coming March," said Guillermo Guzman, WWIF founder. "Having two companies of the visibility of Filtrex and HaloSource sponsor the tournament enhances our organizations standings amongst other members of the industry and helps with our efforts to provide clean, safe drinking water to developing areas."
