MELVILLE, N.Y. — Sept. 10, 2015 — H2M architects + engineers hired Samir Avdic to serve as a senior project engineer supporting the company’s water supply and water treatment projects, according to a press release.
Avdic has more than 25 years of experience in the government and private sectors, noted the release. He has also worked with mining and utility operations in Europe and Australia. His most recent role was serving as senior project manager for Water Corporation, which provides water and wastewater services to more than two million people in Western Australia.
“H2M is passionate about their work and committed to their legacy. The company has an integrated approach to design, and provides the opportunity to gain new experiences,” Avdic said in the release. “I’m excited about the future of H2M and delighted to be part of the team.”
Avdic earned a B.E. from the University of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an M.S. in project management from Curtin University in Australia, shared the release.
H2M architects + engineers employs more than 290 architects, planners, designers, inspectors, surveyors, scientists and engineers (water supply, civil/site, structural, M/E/P, wastewater and environmental), reported the release.
