Firm promotes deputy director from within

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Lanner will focus on enhancing operations as he supports day-to-day management.

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Ron Lanner, R.A., LEED AP, received a promotion to deputy director of architecture for H2M architects + engineers, according to a press release.

Lanner will focus on enhancing operations as he supports the day-to-day management of the company’s three architecture studios, noted the release.

"The decision to promote Ron comes as a result of his hard work, our sustained growth, and our philosophy of promoting from within, which enables upward mobility for our staff," H2M’s Director of Architecture, Joe Mottola, said in the release. "Our goal is to utilize Ron’s organizational strengths to continue improving our efficiency, production, and delivery system to our diverse client base."

"It’s very exciting for me to be part of such a dynamic and talented group," Lanner shared in the release. "I am looking forward to the new responsibilities and challenges that this position will entail."

Lanner has worked with the firm since 1996, reported the release. He most recently served as municipal architecture studio director, where he was involved in expanding emergency services.
