Forum on Southern California water crisis to take place Nov. 12

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — “Are We Running Dry?” will involve a documentary film screening and panel discussions with water experts.

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — A forum to investigate the water crisis in Southern California titled "Are We Running Dry?" will take place Nov. 12 in Los Angeles, according to a press release.

The forum will start off with a screening of the documentary film "The American Southwest: Are We Running Dry?” produced by Jim Thebaut, the release reported.

According to the release, the screening will be followed by a keynote speech, panel discussions and a Q&A with water experts.

The keynote speaker is David Nahai, president of David Nahai Consulting Services LLC and the moderator will be Jim Thebaut, CEO, president and executive producer at The Chronicles Group, the release noted.

Other panelists, according to the release, include Maureen Stapleton, general manager of San Diego County Water Authority and Jeff Mosher, executive director of the National Water Research Institute.
